William was born in 1831 in Alston, Cumberland.  William's father was William ROBSON and his mother is Ann LOW[E].  His maternal grandparents were William LOW[E] and Eunice THOMPSON.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 73 on February 25th, 1904 in North Shields.
