Petronella Dina was born in 1815 in Harderwijk.  Petronella Dina's father is Michiel Tornhoff and her mother is Dirkje Troost. She had three brothers and a sister, named Johannes, Johan Michael, Johannes Gerardus Adam and Jacoba Elisabeth.  She was the oldest of the five children.  Petronella Dina is no longer alive.
