Leopold I, known as The Illustious, was born in 0940 in Phochlarn, Niederhosterrich, Austria.  The Illustious' father was Arnulf (The Bad) and his mother was Judith (Jhutte) Grafin von Shulichgau. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Luitpold, Eberhard, Arnulf, Berthold, Hermann, Heinrich, Ludwig and Judith.  He was the youngest of the nine children.  He died  due to Attempted Assination of his cousin Henry of Schweinfurt at the age of 54 on July 10th, 0994 in Wurzburg, Unterfranken, Bavaria.
