Ferdinand  Gauvin & Marcelline Auffray

Ferdinand  and Marcelline were married in a religious ceremony in Saint-ThomasChurch in St. Joseph, N.B. witnessed by Anselme Bourq and Philomene Belliveau.  They had four sons and three daughters, named Thomas, Augustin, Edmond, Etienne, Elisabeth , Delphine and Nathalie.

  • Marcelline was 26 yrs. old when she married Ferdinand Gauvin, son of Laurent Gauvin and Madeleine Bourque of St. Anselme.  Ferdinand was a brother of Henriette, wife of Joseph Auffrey
    They also had four more children who died as infants.
    Thomas born 1 February and died on 19 October 1861
    Alphee born on 8 June 1871 and died 13 June 1875
    Henri born 26 September and died on 22 February 1874
    Arselie born 26 June and died on 27 June 1875
