Матвей Антонович was born on October 10th, 1838 in д.Кулига Каменской волости Тюменского уезда.  Матвей Антонович's father was Антон Федорович Вяткин and his mother was Анна Николаевна Шешукова.  His paternal grandfather was Фёдор Вяткин; his maternal grandparents were Николай Васильевич Шешуков and Варвара. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Максим Антонович, Василий Антонович, Кузьма, Матрена Антоновна, Марфа Антоновна, Дарья Антоновна, Анна Антоновна and Марья Антоновна.  He died at the age of 77 in 1915 in г.Тюмень.  He was buried in Текутьевское кладбище.
