Айбе-д Куроптева.  Палагея's father was Михаил Савинович Малцов and her mother is Екатерина Ивановна Буркова-Малцова.  Her paternal grandfather is Сава Малцов and her paternal grandmother was Екатерина-Малцова. She has two brothers and five sisters, named Андрей, Иван, Ирина, Анисья, Евдокея, Анна and Марья.  She is the second oldest of the eight children. She has four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Фёдор, Фёдор, Василий, Пётр, Елена and Дарья.
