Ladislav Ratibor was born on May 17th, 1890 in Praha-Vinohrady.  Ladislav Ratibor's father was Bohuslav Bedøich Rieger and his mother was Marie Èervinková.  His paternal grandparents were František Ladislav Rieger and Marie Aloisie Palacká. He had two brothers named Václav Jiøí and Bohuslav František Xaver.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 67 on April 30th, 1958 in Praha.
