Clotilde was born on June 26th, 1828 in Praha-Smíchov. Clotilde's father was Joseph Franz Dietrichstein-Pruskau, von and her mother was Gabriela Vratislavová z Mitrovic a Schönfeldu. Her paternal grandparents were Franz Seraphin Joseph Dietrichstein-Pruskau, von and Alexandra Schuwalow. She had three sisters named Theresia, Alexandrine Maria and Gabriele. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 71 on October 31st, 1899 in Pohled.
