August Lebrecht was born in 1693. August Lebrecht's father was Emanuel Lebrecht Anhalt-Köthen, von and his mother was Gisela Agnes Rath, von. His paternal grandparents were Emanuel Anhalt-Köthen, von and Eleonore Stolberg-Wernigerode, von. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Leopold, August, Eleonore Wilhelmine, Gisela Auguste and Christiane Charlotte. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in 1693.
