Dr Andries Petrus Treurnicht

Andries was born on February 19th, 1921 in Piketberg, Western Cape, South Africa. Andries' father was Andries Petrus Treurnicht and his mother was Hester Johanna Elizabeth Albertyn. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm Georg Treurnicht and Margaretha Johanna Von Willigh. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Willem, Hendrik , Nickolaas, Schalk, Arend, Charles, Anna and Magrieta. He died due to a medical problem, During heart operation, at the age of 72 on April 22nd, 1993 in Cape Town, South Africa.¹
