Alfred was born on September 7th, 1881 in Irondale, Washington County, Missouri.1   Alfred's father was Robert Trauernicht and his mother was Mary C. Brenneke.  His paternal grandparents were August F Trauernicht and Johanna Eggerling. He had a sister named Minnie.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died from a heart attack, Congestive Heart Disease, at the age of 73 on August 31st, 1955 in Bismark, St. Francois County, Missouri.  He was buried on September 3rd, 1955 in Masonic Cemetery, Bismark, St. Francois County, Missouri.1 1

Alfred and Olive were married.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Charles, Stanley, Alma and Sophia.
