Richard was born on June 28th, 1921.  Richard's father was Frank Joseph Roetto and his mother was Catherine Witt.  His paternal grandparents were Charles Roetto and Catherine Marie; his maternal grandparents were Herman Witt and Bernardine Miller. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Loren, David, Frederick, Ruth, Rose, Dorothy, Virginia and Loretta.  He died at the age of 62 on March 20th, 1984.  He was buried at the Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro, Augusta County, Virginia.1 1
