Johann was born in 1676 in Bagband, Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany.1   Johann's father was Jann Meynen and his mother was Thriene Diecken.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 75 on November 12th, 1751 in Bagband, Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany.1
