Hiske Gerdes

Hiske was born on March 13th, 1892 in Südermoor, Leer, Lower Saxony, Germany. Hiske's father was Ufke Renken Gerdes and her mother was Mareke Frerichs Hinrichs. Her paternal grandparents were Renke Ufken Gerdes and Mareke Jaspers Fahrenholtz. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Renke, Renke, Frerich, Tette, Marje, Mareke and Gretje. She was the youngest of the eight children.
