Friedrich (Paul) L. Paul Brunnworth

Friedrich, known as Paul, was born on September 20th, 1889 in Hamel Township, Madison County, Illinois and his baptism took place on October 6th, 1889.¹ Paul's father was Friedrich (William) Wilhelm Brunnworth and his mother was Wilhelmina C. Sander. His paternal grandparents were Henry Curt Brunnworth and Dorothee (Sophia) Sophie Charlotte Buettemeier; his maternal grandparents were Rudolph Sander and Sophie. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Arthur, Walter, Freedy, Heinrich, William, Victor, Alma, Esther, Agnes, Martha and Olga. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 85 on September 23rd, 1974. He was buried at the Saint Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Hamel, Madison County, Illinois.¹¹
