Her paternal grandparents were William Simpson Gaddis and Rebecca Jane Coffey; her maternal grandparents were Frances Marion Cook and Lucy Belle Warford. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Lawrence, John Wesley "Jake", David, Lowell Paul, Glenn Eugene, James Calvin, Edna, Alma, Eva Margaret, Beatrice and Berta. She died at the age of 59 on January 27th, 1974 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana, USA.-
