Michael Anthony “Buckley”

Michael, known as Buckley, was born on November 5th, 1903 in Cork, Ireland.  Buckley's father was James Buckley and his mother was Margaret Cronin.  His paternal grandparents were Cornelius Buckley and Mary Hayes; his maternal grandparents were Michael J Cronin and Mary Foley. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Cornelius, Gerard, James, Mary, Margaret, Norah, Carmeleta and Bridget.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 66 on May 1st, 1970 in Cork, Ireland.
