Mary Kate Flanagan

Mary Kate was born on June 8th, 1910 in Frenchfort. Oranmore, Galway.  Mary Kate's father was Martin Flanagan and her mother was Mary Murphy.  Her paternal grandparents were Patrick (Patt) Flanagan and Bridget (Biddy) Fahy; her maternal grandparents were James (Jim) Murphy and Cecelia Crowe. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Patt, James, John, Edward, Martin, Thomas, Michael, Antony, Michael, Bridget, Celia and Norah.  She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 67 on April 28th, 1978.
