Mary was born in 1755.  Mary's father is William Lindow and her mother is Ann Postlethwaite.  Her paternal grandparents are William Lindow and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents are Robert Postlethwaite and <Unknown>.  She has a brother and two sisters, named William, Ann and Phoebe.  She is the second oldest of the four children.
