William Hudson

William was born on April 16th, 1809. William's father is Robert Hudson. His paternal grandparents were James Hudson and Mary Barker. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Robert, James, Thomas, Mary, Sarah, Jane, Mary and Ann. He died at the age of 70 in 1879.

  baptised 14/5/1809 at Hawkshead (later gives his birth as 1910)
  died 1879 at Satterthwaite
  He and Catherine Long farmed at Boon Crag (Coniston) by 1838 and 1841, and at Bowkerstead/Bowerstead Farm (Satterthwaite) by 1851
