Rev Andrew was born on November 1st, 1796 in Littleton, Grafton, New Hampshire, United States.1   Rev Andrew's father was Andrew Rankin and his mother was Dorothy French.  His paternal grandparents were James Rankin and Margaret Witherspoon. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Henry, William, Simon, Dorothy, Besty, Sarah and Carline.  He died  due to Y at the age of 65 on October 22nd, 1862 in Danbury, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, United States.  He was buried in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States.2 2

‌Rev Andrew and Lois were married in a religious ceremony on January 18th, 1824 in New Hampshire, United States.  They had a son and three daughters, named Rev Jeremiah Eames, Lucy, Lois Adeline and Caroline Susan.
