Sarah was born about 1860 in Michigan.1   Sarah's father was John Watterman Kimpton and her mother was Amy Ann Acoby. She had a brother and three sisters, named Stephen, Amy Ursla, Anna and Mary. She had a half-sister named Cynthia Jane.  She died in 1921.  She was buried in Sparta, Kent County, Michigan, United States.2 2

‌Sarah and Willard A. were married in a religious ceremony on August 18th, 1880 in Ridgeway, Lenawee, Michigan, United States.3
