Lydia was born in 1739 in Westmoreland, NH.1   Lydia's father was Joshua Howe Sr and her mother was Lydia Robbins. She had two brothers and a sister, named Nehemiah, Joshua and Azubah.  She died at the age of 84 on September 14th, 1823 in Lisbon, NH.2 



Lydia's family with Major Benjamin Whitcomb Jr

‌Lydia and Benjamin were married in a religious ceremony on December 14th, 1769.1  They had four sons and four daughters, named Benjiman, Joshua, John, <Unknown>, Lydia, Azubah, Anna and Ruth.
