John H Deem

John was born on October 16th, 1782.  John's father was Johann Nicholas Deem and his mother was Mary Magthalena Diehl.  His paternal grandparents were Johannes Adam Diehm and Anna Christine Laudenclos. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Adam, Thomas, Joseph, Chritiana, Elizabeth, Barbara and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 79 on February 12th, 1862.
