Catherine was born on March 7th, 1801.  Catherine's father was Jacob Deem Sr and her mother was Eva Ann Cox.  Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Adam Diehm and Anna Christine Laudenclos. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Abraham, Jacob, Peter, Hiram, William, Juniper, Washington, Elizabeth and Mary.  She died at the age of 71 on July 18th, 1872.
