Absalom's father was Absalom Bostick and his mother was Nancy Dalton.  His paternal grandparents were Absalom Bostick and Bethania Perkins; his maternal grandparents were David Dalton Sr and Susanna Davis. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Johathan, David, Bethenia, Elizabeth, Nancy and Susannah.  He died in 1841.
