Jes was born in 1592.  Jes' father was Peter Rasch and his mother was Margaretha Marquardsen.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Rasch and Anna Eggemund; his maternal grandparents were Claus Marquardsen and Ingeborg Bennich.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 66 on March 1st, 1658 in Westerholm.
