André Coelho was born in Fajã Grande, ilha das Flôres, Açôres - PORTUGAL. André Coelho's father was Capitão Domingos Rodrigues Ramos and his mother was Catarina de Freitas. He had two brothers named Francisco Rodrigues and Gaspar Henriques.General Notes
Nasceu na Fajã Grande, no último quartel do século XVII,
E já era padre em Fevereiro de 1709, data em que foi testemunha de baptismo na Fajanzinha.
Teve como património, por escritura celebrada em 1706, meio moio de terra nas Lajes, sendo 20 alqueires de lavradio e 10 de pasto e inhames.
Foi designadamente cura no Corvo, em 1712, e em Santa Cruz, em 1715.
