Nestor's father was lu Freitas and his mother was Elidia Barbosa Freitas. His maternal grandparents were Romulo Ferreira Barbosa and Idalina Barbosa. He has three brothers and five sisters, named Carlindo, Irineu, Albino , Olimpia, Enedina, Ilda, Nadir and Lurdes.
