Her paternal grandparents are Manuel Ávila Raposo and Clara São Francisco; her maternal grandparents are António Marques and Luiza São João. She has two brothers and five sisters, named Manuel, Manuel, Maria, Ana Maria, Teresa Maria, Rosa and Rosa. She is the second oldest of the eight children.-
