Chaja was born on January 30th, 1920 in Mlynik, Wizna, Poland.  Chaja's father was Icek  Mejer Niedzwiecki (Berrenson) and her mother was Brajna   Brzoza.  Her paternal grandparents were Eclhanan (Chonko) Niedzwiecki and Fruma  Malka Szemborska.  She has three brothers named Juda, Efroim  and Alan .
