Mr. Ralph W. Gregory
Ralph W. Gregory, 76, of 2005 Casement Rd., died Saturday evening at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. He had been a resident of Manhattan since 1940 moving here from Ellsworth.
He was born Feb. 13, 1897, in Ellsworth County. He was a retired painter and artist. He was a member of the Blue Valley United Memorial United Methodist Church, the Manhattan Odd Fellows Lodge No. 17, and Harmony Rebekkah Lodge No. 689.
Survivors include his wife Bessie Gregory, of the home; two sons Lee Gregory, Japan, and Ray Gregory, Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Vada) Johnson, Topeka; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lee Gregory, Ellsworth and Howard Gregory, Independence, Mo. and one sister Mrs. May Sheppard, Tescott.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cowan-Edwards-Yorgensen chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Graveside services will be conducted by the Manhattan Odd Fellows Lodge.
