George was born on December 5th, 1909 in Askham, Newark, Nottinghamshire, England. George's father was UNKNOWN and his mother was Lillian Bealby (Bullivant). His maternal grandparents were William George Bealby and Fanny Bullivant. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Horace, Harry, Edna and Nellie.
