Mrs Maria Jans Wynkoop

Maria was born on July 4th, 1660 in Albany.¹ Maria's father was Mr Cornelious Wynkoop and her mother was Mrs Maria Janse Langedyck. She died at the age of 64 on October 16th, 1724 in Rochester.¹

General Notes
- She had land upon her marriage that was traded for Beekman's half of Beekman's and Herm Hendrick Rosekran's patent in Rochester. They settled there and it was considered "wilderness." Their friends feared for their safet. They lived for sometime under a tree. Several daughters died in infancy and others in early childhood.
