Mr Selah Cook

Selah was born on December 19th, 1756. Selah's father was Mr Henry Cook IV and his mother was Mrs Hannah Benham. His paternal grandparents were Mr Henry Cook III and Mrs Sarah Turner (Towner) Frost; his maternal grandparents were Mr Nathan Benham and Mrs Mary Rudd. He had a brother and four sisters, named Lemuel, Zuba, Sarah, Mary and Thankful. He was the fifth oldest of the six children.

- From 1776 Selah's occupation was Revolutionary war soldier full time in public administration for Continental Army. He retired in 1785.
