Duke Richard Plantagenet III

Richard was born on September 21st, 1411. Richard's father was Duke Richard Plantagenet and his mother was Anne Mortimer. He was an only child. He died as a war casualty at the age of 49 on December 30th, 1460 in Wakefield - England.

- was a member of the English royal family, who served in senior positions in France at the end of the Hundred Years' War, and in England during Henry VI's madness. His conflict with Henry VI was a leading factor in the political upheaval of mid-fifteenth-century England, and a major cause of the Wars of the Roses. Although he never became king, he was the father of Edward IV and Richard III.
