William Austen

William was born on September 3rd, 1746 in Beneden, Kent, England and his baptism took place on September 3rd, 1747 in Tenterden, Kent, England. William's father was Thomas Austen and his mother was Mary Buckwell. His paternal grandparents were Edward Austen and Elizabeth Vane. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Stephen, John, Joseph, James, Hannah, Sarah, Ann, Margaret Mary, Margaret and Martha. He was the tenth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 73 on September 29th, 1819 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England.
