Joseph William Sloan 
Joseph was born on May 6th, 1883. Joseph's father was Jacob Singleton Sloan and his mother was Mary Robinson. His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Marget Sloan. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Jacob and Grace. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 61 in June 1944.General Notes
Married at The Primitive Methodist Chapel, Workington.
Auctioneer. Was a hairdresser. Brought his family to Birmingham in the 1931 depression. Lived at 70 Marsh Hill, Erdington. when 12 was kicked on the ankle during football. Had his foot off at 14.
