Joseph Hale & Mary Hale

Joseph and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on December 15th, 1693 in Boxford, Essex, Massachusetts.¹

Marriage/Union Notes
- In 1693 his widow mother owned 280 acres of land in Boxford. She offered to give Jospeh half of it if he agreed to marry Mary Watson. Mary's father agreed to give her half of his property if she would marry Joseph Hale. Mary's father and Joseph's mother were married.

They had five sons and two daughters, named Joseph, Jacob, Ambrose, Moses, Abner, Mary and Sarah.
