Simon Willard

Simon was born in April 1603 in Horsemonden, Kent, England. Simon's father was Richard Willard and his mother is Margery Willard. His paternal grandparents are Symon Willarde and Elizabeth. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Edward, John, George, Catherine and Margery. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas, Richard, George, Mary and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 73 on April 24th, 1676 in Charlestown, Suffolk, Massachusetts. He was buried on April 27th, 1676 in Charlestown, Suffolk, Massachusetts.¹

Married first about 1630, England; second about 1643, Concord, Massachusetts Elizabeth DUNSTER (d. about 1643), daughter of Henry; and third about 1645 Mary DUNSTER (b. Dec. 15, 1630; d. Dec. 28 1715, Sudbury, Massachusetts) cousin of Elizabeth and daughter of Robert DUNSTER and Mary GERRETT. He had no children by Elizabeth, and his ten youngest were by his third marriage.
