Thomas was born in 1622 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.1   Thomas' father is Richard Whittier and his mother was Mary Whittier.  His paternal grandfather is Richard Whittier; his maternal grandparents were John Rolfe and Honor Rolfe. He had two brothers named John and Richard.  He died at the age of 74 on November 28th, 1696 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts.2
