John was born about 1636.  John's father was George Watson and his mother was Phebe Watson.  His paternal grandfather was Robert Watson and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth; his maternal grandfather was Robert Hicks and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Hicks. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan, Elkanah, Samuel, Mary, Phebe and Elizabeth.  He died after 1660 in Young.1
