Thomas was born on May 6th, 1684 in Middleborough, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1   Thomas' father was John Thompson and his mother was Mary Thompson.  His paternal grandparents were John Thompson and Mary Thompson. He had twelve brothers and three sisters, named Peter, John, John, Ephraim, Shubeal, Thomas, Peter, Isaac, Ebenezer, Frances, Francis, Jacob, Mary, Martha and Sarah.  He was the sixth oldest of the sixteen children.  He died at the age of 96 on March 20th, 1781 in Middleborough, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1
