Peter Austin was born on August 10th, 1803.1   Peter Austin's father was John Thompson and his mother is Sarah Thompson.  His paternal grandparents were Isaac Thompson and Lucy Thompson. He had four brothers and a sister, named Leander, Sewall, Isaac, George and Deborah. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John Dean, Robert Richardson, Thomas Edwin, Charles, Sarah Jane, Belinda Dean and Margaret Richardson.  He died at the age of 83 on February 26th, 1887 in Rumford, Oxford, Maine.  He was buried after February 1887 in Rumford Center, Oxford, Maine.1 1
