Joseph was born in July 1772.1   Joseph's father is Joseph Simpson and his mother is Agnes Simpson. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, David, Robert, Samuel, James, Jonathan, Mary, Anna, Esther, Jennie and Peggy.  He died at the age of 26 on February 7th, 1799.1
