Hube Hans Peterson

Hube Hans was born on November 19th, 1911. Hube Hans' father is John C. Peterson and his mother is Francis L. Peterson. His paternal grandparents are Hans Peterson and Helen Culip; his maternal grandparents are Franklin Pierce Bullock and Lucy Jane Pollack. He was an only child. Hube Hans is no longer alive.

- Goshen - S. Sgt. Hube Hans Peterson, 52, of 1920 Donald St., was dead on arrival at Goshen Hospital at 1p.m. Saturday (march 1964 per SSDI). He was taken there after collapsing on the sidewalk in the 100 block of N. Main St. with a heart attack. He was retired from the U.S. Army, in which he had served for 18 years. He was born in Geneva, N.Y. on Nov 19, 1911, and lived here since last Nobember. On Nov. 26, 1963 he married the former Kathleen Myers, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William Whitacre, Leesburg; a son, Hube Jr.; four stepsons, Larry, David, Thomas and Frederick Myers, all of Goshen; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jon V. Robinson , Goshen; four grand-childred and two step grand-children. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Military Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Maynard Kulp, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetary.
