Hannah was born on August 5th, 1651 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts.1   Hannah's father was Theophilus Shatswell and her mother was Susanna Shatswell.  Her paternal grandparents were John Shatswell and Judith Shatswell; her maternal grandfather was Haniel Bosworth. She had two sisters named Lydia and Mary.  She died at the age of 19 on December 27th, 1670 in in childbirth, Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts.2
