Eleanor's father was Thomas Boyle and her mother was Ann Boyle.  Her paternal grandparents are Boyle and Unknown Boyle. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Ambrose, Albert James, William Louis, Arthur, Thomas, Margaret, Judith, Sarah, Mary Ann and Elizabeth.
