Mathew was born about 1651.1   Mathew's father was William Macumber and his mother was Ursula Mathew. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, John, Sarah, Hannah and Ursula.  He died about 1675 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts.1
