Capitola was born on November 27th, 1884 in Milton Plantation, Oxford, Maine.1   Capitola's father was Elbridge Sylvester Buck and her mother was Sarah West Farnum.  Her paternal grandparents are John Atwood Buck and Hannah Cummings; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Jackson Farnum and Bathsheba Farnum. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Elbriedge Llewellyn, Gilman Farnum, Herbert Alphonso, George Elmer, John Jackson, Earl Albertie, Clinton Sylvestor, Adelaide L., Melissa Jane, Basha F., Cora A., Sadie Mae, Edith L. and Matilda Ruth.  She died at the age of 74 on February 5th, 1959 in Norway, Oxford, Maine.  She was buried in Abbott Mills Cemetery, Abbott Mills Cemetery, Rumford, Maine.1
